Principal’s Message

Welcome to St Christopher’s Catholic Primary School Holsworthy’s website and thank you for deciding to find out more about our wonderful school. Our mission is to nurture, inspire and empower each child’s potential.

We pride ourselves on our warm, welcoming and inclusive community. Our teachers genuinely care for each child and are committed to ensuring their wellbeing. We passionately believe in educating the whole child – mind, body and spirit.

Teachers are engaged in ongoing professional learning which builds a shared schoolwide vision for learning. They provide learning experiences that meet the needs of every child and builds persistence, resilience, risk-taking and curiosity, the qualities for lifelong learning.

Parents, teachers and the parish community work in partnership to develop the faith of our children and to assist them to become respectful and responsible citizens.

As principal, I invite you to visit our wonderful school, take a tour with our outstanding senior students and experience firsthand the wonderful opportunities we offer.

In Peace

Our Charism

At St Christopher’s Catholic Primary School Holsworthy we are inspired by St Mary of the Cross Mackillop and the Sisters of St Joseph. Through the charism and the words of St Mary of the Cross Mackillop ‘to never see a need without doing something about it’, we aspire to live out our school motto ‘Through Faith and Love, We Serve’. Our motto is lived out each day through our positive partnerships with students and their families and bearing witness to Jesus and His teachings.

The community of St Christopher’s is one of welcome and acceptance with the link between school and parish particularly strong. St Christopher’s Catholic Primary School includes the wider community in its day-to-day activities.

Many opportunities exist for involvement in the life of the school, and contributions from parents, grandparents and other community members in a range of activities are always warmly welcomed.

Our school is also directly involved in supporting those in need in our local community, and our families are keen to ‘give back’ to the community and work in partnership with various charities.
